MECHANICSBURG, PENNSYLVANIA (pennlive.com) - Several Pittsburgh Steelers teammates joined Antonio Brown at Highmark Stadium on Saturday afternoon for his charity softball game.

James Harrison, Mike Mitchell, Joshua Dobbs and Cameron Sutton were among the Steelers who played in the game. Other participants included former Pitt basketball star DeJuan Blair, former Steeler Wes Saunders and agent Drew Rosenhaus.

"They could be anywhere else in the world," Brown said of his teammates' participation. "We got five weeks off and for those guys to give me their time means a lot to me. I don't take it for granted."

Proceeds from the event benefitted the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania and the National Youth Foundation.

Before the game, several players participated in a home run derby while Brown held a meet-and-greet with fans. Late Steelers owner Dan Rooney was honored. Brown also signed a painting of him with Rooney that was auctioned off.

In between innings, children from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania participated in dance contests, games and other activities.

"It's a lot of love out here, a lot of support," Brown said, "Not only from the fans and the kids, but a lot of my teammates are here. I'm just extremely grateful to be here for a good cause, for the city."
